Reproduction of Originals
Each of my original editions can be recreated using a similar or completely different color palette. I create a template for each original composition to help me line up the hundreds of pieces of fabric in each fabric painting. These a templates have an added benefit. They make each image easy to reproduce using colors of your choice.
For example, my Luna Moths fabric paintings are both original works of art. I used the same template to create all four moths and the two branches, and just chose to change the background so the two pictures did not look identical.
Although the composition of a piece will be the same as the first edition, it is impossible for me to match the fabrics exactly to those I used on the first editions. Therefore, each edition becomes an entirely new, unique piece of art. Although the composition and the colors (if desired) will be the same, the fabrics themselves will not. This ensures that even if I were to create 10 Coral Reefs, each image would be a unique fabric painting.
Customization
I can customize any piece of art to suit your color scheme. For example, are you in love with my Family of Moose, but the warm autumn colors just do not work with the light green curtains in your living room? Not a problem! I am happy to customize any of my current works, or design something new, tailored to a specific color palette. Just send me swatches of the colors you would like me to match, and I would be happy to work with you an designing a new image to fit your home.
