Lipizzaner Stallion

I was inspired to create this picture after seeing a performance of the Lipizzaner stallions in person. They were so impressive, and I loved the contrast of the black tack on the horses' brilliant white coats.

Through experimentation I have found that using blue fabric for my shadows makes the object appear pure white. (I tried using greys for the shadows but my poor horse looked dirty.) The blue background was chosen to work with the blue on the horse.
