Super Mario Galaxy

Super Mario Galaxy continues the fanart quilt gift trend for my husband. Super Mario Galaxy (the video game) was one of his favorites as a kid. Although I never played when it first came out, I played through the re-released version on our Switch before designing this quilt.

As is my wont, I took some artistic liberty in the design. This scene never appears exactly the way I've shown it in the game. Mario does, at times, fly around planets, and the planet shown here is the very first one we (the player) visit in the campaign, but the player never gets to see this view of Mario as he's soaring through the sky.
